Beyond Glutathione
When it comes to “brightening,” one ingredient is often mentioned first: glutathione.
Many Ownist customers asked for it too—hoping for a glutathione-based product they could trust, one that would be effective yet enjoyable enough to take consistently, much like Triple Collagen. Those requests defined the starting point of our mission to develop Triple Shine.
As we explored existing glutathione and brightening-focused inner beauty products, a clear pattern emerged.
Most formulas were built around the popularity of a single ingredient, with little attention to the root causes of dull or uneven-looking skin. Few addressed how healthy-looking radiance actually develops from within.
Products designed to support a naturally clear, vibrant complexion—starting at the biological level—were surprisingly rare.
That was the moment we realized:
the product we were looking for didn’t yet exist.
Supporting Healthy Radiance from Within
Instead of starting with an ingredient, we began with the body’s internal mechanisms.
We asked fundamental questions:
- What causes skin to look dull or tired?
- What processes contribute to hyperpigmentation?
- And how can these pathways be supported through formulation?
To answer them, we studied hundreds of scientific papers and held seven in-depth review meetings with a medical and pharmaceutical advisory group, testing hypotheses and validating each direction step by step.
A Formula Built on Scientific Validation
Because this wasn’t about recreating what already existed, development took over a year.
Rather than combining ingredients indiscriminately, we focused on:
- setting clear priorities
- maximizing effectiveness
- and carefully checking for ingredient interactions
Through long-term study and scientific validation, the formulation was finalized—
a synergistic blend designed to support antioxidant pathways and healthy-looking radiance.
We also ensured compatibility with Triple Collagen, considering how the two could work together as part of a consistent inner beauty routine.
This was how Ownist’s second product—Triple Shine—began to take shape.
